Rachel is the driving force behind Bold Body Mind. Her journey in the fitness industry began back in 2005 when she started as a fitness instructor, almost by chance. Little did she know that this would become her life's passion.
Rachel's path evolved as she transitioned from a gym instructor to a personal trainer and body composition coach. She dedicated herself to learning from Olympic coaches and professional athletes, constantly seeking ways to achieve the best results for herself and her clients.
In 2014, Rachel and her husband, Mark, realized their dream by opening "Establish," a gym that prioritized fat loss and body composition. Shortly after, Rachel embraced motherhood while continuing to excel in her fitness career.
Initially, her focus was on personal goals, even competing in national fitness competitions and guiding numerous gym members through their transformations. But life had other plans. The birth of her second child, coupled with the demands of managing a gym and cafe, left Rachel overwhelmed and mentally strained.
It was during this challenging time that Rachel had an epiphany. Health and fitness are not just about physical appearance; they encompass mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The realization became crystal clear when circumstances forced her to close her business in 2021, due to the COVID-19 lockdowns.
The impact was profound, affecting her physical health, home, and support system. Rachel's journey became a testament to the importance of spiritual and mental health. She leaned on her faith and experienced miraculous moments that transformed her approach to health and fitness.
